CAPS intervention impact: Since its inception in 2005 to date, CAPS has provided therapeutic services (both group and individual counseling) for over 6,650 traumatized and tortured survivals (including children, women and youth) in both Kono and Kailahun districts. Another estimated number of 364 community stakeholders (including religious leaders); 241 army and police officers; 87 prison officers; 233 prisoners and 271 frontline community health workers have been targeted and provided for. Over the years, CAPS's beneficiaries in all operational areas have shown massive recovery of their daily life functioning followed by a dramatic psychosocial and emotional restructuring.
